Lorraine E. (Bush) McCleary Weaver, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Gary E. McCleary, who died in January of 1990, and the late Jacob Weaver.

There will be a public viewing on Monday, March 27, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Beck officiating. Interment to follow in the Stewartstown Cemetery.

Lorraine was born March 29, 1936, in Stewartstown, a daughter of the late Floyd and Elva (McCleary) Bush. She had worked as a seamstress at the Stewartstown Sewing Factory. Lorraine enjoyed baking, Facetiming with her grandchildren, and Facebook. Above all, she loved her family.

Surviving are four children, Denise M. Hersey and her husband, Ronald of Stewartstown, Debbie S. Sennett and her husband, Charles of Dover, James E. McCleary and his wife, Kimberly of Red Lion, and Gary E. McCleary II and his wife, Kimberly of York; eight grandchildren, Kimberly McElwain, Nathan Hersey, Jessica Moyer, Matthew Sennett, Kaitlyn Sennett, Nathaniel Sennett, Shannon McCleary, Brandon McCleary; three step-grandchildren, Brian, Kyle, and Amber Middleton; 11 great-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren; a sister, Jean Vaught; and a brother, Norman Bush, both of Stewartstown. Lorraine was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emily McCleary; a sister, Donna Eaton; and a brother, Paul Bush.
